We really care about our world. We believe that businesses should follow the same moral and ethical parameters that govern our personal lives. Therefore, we have committed to give 10% of all profits, pre-tax, to Glocal Ventures. GV is an NGO doing great work in Vietnam and since our business is largely conducted in Vietnam I’m sure you would agree that is where our money should go.
Glocal Ventures is a U.S. based organization that is primarily dedicated to socio-economic development in Vietnam. GVI engages in the development process by promoting community-to-community relationships between the U.S. and Vietnam.
Glocal Ventures focuses its overseas efforts on serving the people of Vietnam. Primarily, they continue to touch lives through their work with hospitals, universities, orphanages, warm shelters and a multitude of other humanitarian pursuits.
Glocal Ventures mobilizes communities in the U.S. to partner long-term with communities in Vietnam to see dreams realized and communities transformed. They serve alongside a community to help people work together in interdependency, taking charge of their situations and moving towards a more empowered and satisfying life as individuals and community.
GVI believes that the establishment of people-to-people diplomacy between the two countries is vital to understanding and forming effective partnerships that produce results. The Ministry of Planning and Investment in Vietnam has developed a Five-Year Socio-Economic Development Plan for 2006 – 2010. Glocal Ventures’ projects are designed and implemented in support of Vietnam’s five-year development plan.
